In 1978, the Bobby Stephen’s St. Patrick’s Day celebration began at the popular Vault Restaurant located in Manchester, NH. Bobby became involved with the NH Job Training Council in 1992. In 1994, the event began to assist at-risk and disadvantaged high school students seeking financial aid for college through the NH Jobs for America’s Graduates program by providing funds from the event proceeds. The Bobby Stephen’s Fund for Education evolved in 1999 and the 501 (c)(3) charitable organization was created and continues to provide scholarships to NH Jobs for America’s Graduates students as well as other disadvantaged young adults in New Hampshire to assist them with their educational goals. Contributions to the Bobby Stephen’s Fund for Education are tax deductible.
